QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
01How long can do you allow for the picnics?
Our time allocation for the picnics is two-four hours, depending on the occasion. We like to allow more time for larger groups, like bridal or baby showers so they can have time for games/activities with a beautiful setting. Surprise Picnic we allow 2 hours, this will give you enough time to enjoy your platter and bubbles. If you require longer please ask. Late fees apply, as this will affect other picnic timeframes.
02What happens if it is raining or windy?
Obviously rain nor wind is ideal for a relaxing picnic. We do recommend having two dates for the picnic or have a back up location indoors like your resort or home. I promise it will still look amazing indoors. This will be at no extra cost unless it is outside of our free delivery zone. If this is not an option we will look into venues to hire. My Secret Picnic does not have an alternative for indoor locations, unless arranged prior. If there is no alternative on the day of the picnic resulting in cancellation, no refund will be given.
We can reschedule 5 days prior to the picnic for free if the weather is not on our side and subject to availability. There is no refund only postponing the picnic.
03What happens if we are to cancel our booking?
Due to the resources required to organise your picnic and the timeframe in which we book out, cancellations or downsizes notified more than one week from the booking date will receive an 80% refund of your deposit. Our 20% booking deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations notified less than one week from the booking date will receive no refund.
